Fighting Fires

The approximately 66,000 residents of the City of Schenectady are served by 121 members, both men and women, of the Schenectady Fire Department. These Professional Firefighters are on duty 24/7 to respond to Fire/EMS/Rescue/Hazmat incidents, Investigate fires, Provide CPR Training for groups, and Provide Fire Safety Education in the schools.
